Machine´s Soul by Vitalino Silva and Pedro Duarte

In today’s modern world, where machines are an omnipresent presence, indispensable to most of us, its ironic that we know less about them. Before, anyone could open a machine and find out how it worked, today we are blind to the way machines work and what dangers and advantages come from it.
We explore this thought in an installation where, in plain sight, several posters reveal nothing but indecipherable symbols that, when seen in the infrared, reveal a message amidst the chaos: “Invisible but omnipresent”.
